The first edition of the AKAI Code hackathon organized by AKAI - Academic Web Application Research Group - takes place at the Poznań University of Technology.
The idea of an event is simple! You code an application related to the topic within 24 hours, and then the jury decides which team will win.
There are three categories to compete in - Best Idea, Best Prototype and Best Technology Usage. What's the topic? You'll find out soon!
The theme of the first edition of AKAI Code is "The Social Influence".
Introduce us to an idea that solves a problem of a small or or larger community that you're part of.
Have an idea on how to support your local food bank? nice! Know how to help an animal shelter in your area? Great! Have you come up with a solution to old lady Jadzia's problem? Let's go!
Find your jumble, take it apart, figure out the solution and at the end shine in front of a jury!
The most interesting initiative that solves in an interesting and real way the problem of Your community.
The best implementation of an idea, it means the most accurate way to execute an idea.
The best technical execution of the project - means the best choice of technology, programming, or clever software solutions.
Hi!
If we have to say something briefly about ourselves: we are computer scientists, but more often than rarely we go outside 😄. Let's add to this mix the ambition to create something incredible, and you get a recipe for AKAI Code Coordinators.
Marcin - AKAI Code coordinator
Called Lynx, who can imitate a ram perfectly. He would do anything, but not somersault.
Filip - event coordinator
the guy from Google. He hates free time, so he takes everything to do. He wears steampunk goggles. Why? Just because.
Michał - event co-coordinator
used to do freestyle rap battles with his friends in middle school, but something didn't work out along the way and he became a programmer.
Kacper - co-coordinator for partners
Watercolor artist, coffee lover, cat person and network administrator? No. E-trapeze lover, an aesthete, a front-end engineer, who is still looking for the legendary badger? Bingo!
Paulina - co-promotion coordinator
She is like a frog. Her skin is always the same temperature as surroundings. She could have become a professional dancer, but she preferred coding apps.
Ula - partner and promotion support
She just wanted to organize a PUBQuiz in AKAI, but she strutted all the way to a hackathon. She dreams of doing stand-ups, but so far she blows all the jokes.
